UBE1240 Variable-Pitch Slicer

Slice thickness set from the panel rather than by changing a blade frame. For plants whose SKU list includes sandwich, toast and thick-cut off the same line.

Why it is specified

  • Thickness changes from the operator panel, in under a minute, with no frame swap
  • One machine covers a SKU list that would otherwise need two
  • Recipe memory means the third-shift setting matches the first-shift one

Runs for

How it works

Thickness from the panel

Slice pitch is servo-set and recalled by recipe. The setting for a SKU is the same on every shift because nobody re-derives it.

One machine, three SKUs

Sandwich, toast and thick-cut come off the same frame. The alternative is two slicers and a decision about which one is idle.

Verified, not assumed

Pitch is measured at the frame and compared to the recipe. A drifting setting raises an alarm rather than a week of customer complaints.
