UBE1010 Continuous Band Slicer

A band slicer for softer crumb and wider loaves, where a reciprocating frame would compress the product before it cut it. Continuous blades, low tension, minimal deflection.

Why it is specified

  • Cuts high-hydration and enriched crumb without dragging or tearing
  • Continuous band means no return stroke, so the cut face stays clean
  • Handles wider loaves than a reciprocating frame of the same footprint

How it works

Continuous band, no return stroke

Because the blade only ever travels one way, there is no return stroke dragging across the cut face. On enriched crumb that is the difference between a clean slice and a torn one.

Low tension, low deflection

Band tension is held just high enough to track true. Anything more compresses the loaf before the cut and shows up as a wedge-shaped slice.

Wide product, same footprint

The band geometry takes wider loaves than a reciprocating frame in the same floor space, which matters when the plant has no space to give.
