UBE1001 High-Speed Bread Slicer

A continuous reciprocating slicer for pan bread, sized for plants where the bagger behind it never stops. Powered infeed, self-tracking blade frame and a slice window that holds from the first loaf of the shift to the last.

Why it is specified

  • Holds slice thickness across a full shift, so the bagger behind it is not re-set twice a day
  • Blade frame changes as a cassette — minutes of downtime, not a maintenance window
  • Powered infeed squares the loaf before the blades see it, which is where most crumb comes from

How it works

Squared before it is cut

A powered infeed brings each loaf square to the blade frame. Most of what gets called blade wear is actually a loaf entering at an angle.

Cut, not pushed

The frame reciprocates against a driven product path, so the loaf is carried through the blades rather than pressed into them. That is what keeps the crumb off the floor.

Changed as a cassette

The whole blade frame lifts out and a fresh one drops in. Blade changes stop being a maintenance window and become a shift-change task.
