Founded by Frank Bastasch in Kansas City in 1966, UBE has grown through three generations while remaining focused on the same goal: building safe, sanitary, reliable equipment designed to serve bakeries for years to come.

Frank Bastasch founded United Bakery Equipment in Kansas City, Kansas, building the company around solving practical production and packaging challenges for commercial bakers.
Built for Growth
Under Michael Bastasch, UBE expanded its equipment lines, engineering capabilities, and presence throughout the baking industry while continuing to develop the proven machinery the company was built on.
The Third Generation
Today, brothers Beau and Kevin Bastasch lead UBE into its third generation, combining the company's proven mechanical designs with modern automation, controls, safety, sanitation, and manufacturing technology
