UBE4100 Product Singulator
Takes product arriving in a mass and hands it on one at a time, correctly spaced, without marking it. The machine most capacity problems turn out to need.

How it works
Separated, not pinched
Product is separated by differential speed rather than by squeezing it between belts. Soft and just-cooled product comes through unmarked.
Spacing to order
Output pitch is set to what the next machine wants. A singulator that hands on at its own convenience just moves the problem downstream.
Surge absorbed here
Short surges from upstream are taken up rather than passed on. The wrapper sees a steady stream, which is all it ever wanted.
