UBE3160 Multipack Wrapper
Collates singles into a multipack and wraps the result. One machine where most plants have a collator, a transfer and a second wrapper.
Why it is specified
- Collation and wrapping on one frame — one set of controls, one fault list
- Pack configurations change from the panel rather than from the toolbox
- Rejects a short collation before film is spent on it

How it works
Collated on the same frame
Singles are collated into the multipack on the wrapper itself. The transfer between a separate collator and wrapper is where multipack lines usually fail.
Short packs never see film
Collation is verified before wrapping starts. A short pack is rejected before it costs anything but the product.
Configuration from the panel
Pack layouts are stored and recalled. Changing from a four to a six is an operation, not a job.
